MichaelHannersDrives is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone who uses our service. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination or harassment by or toward our drivers, passengers, or employees. We are dedicated to treating all individuals with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or identity.
Protected characteristics
Our non-discrimination policy strictly prohibits discrimination and harassment based on:

Scope of policy
This policy applies to all aspects of our service, including:
- For drivers: Accepting or refusing ride requests, and interactions with passengers.
- For passengers: All interactions with drivers and other passengers.
- For all users: The use of our app, including profile information, ratings, and feedback.
- For employees and contractors: Employment, recruitment, hiring, promotions, and all terms and conditions of employment.
Prohibited conduct
Under this policy, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Refusing to provide or accept services based on any protected characteristic.
- Using discriminatory, harassing, or disrespectful language or gestures.
- Rating or providing feedback on a user based on a protected characteristic.
- Intentionally cancelling or refusing trip requests to avoid a particular neighborhood or demographic.

- Any other conduct that creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive environment.
Reporting a violation
We take all reports of discrimination seriously. If you experience or witness discrimination or harassment, please follow these steps:

Investigation and enforcement

- Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible during the investigation.
- Any user found to have violated this policy will face disciplinary action, including potential account deactivation.
- We prohibit retaliation against anyone who files a complaint, assists in an investigation, or objects to discrimination or harassment.
